Trillions of dollars poured into miles of asphalt too expensive to maintain. People saddled with cars they can’t afford, just to get groceries and go to work. Health and planet ruined by emissions, air pollution, tire rubber particulate, oil spills, and all sorts of toxins. And all because we can’t walk or bike around our own neighborhoods. A zillion-dollar industrial complex and their politicians like this order of things because walking and biking are cheap, and they can’t extract thousands of dollars a year in transportation costs out of people who get around under their own power. Commuter. eBiker. Roadie. Even mountain bikers need to get to the trails. We gotta ride together. Pace line style.
