Natalia's Cyclist canvas print

$58.00

This image is in the public domain and easy to find, but we felt it deserved a place in our collection, as one of the most famous cycling themed paintings and an icon of Futurism. Dating from 1913, it was painted by Natalia Goncharova, a pioneer in the early modern art world. Much has been written about the painting’s symbolism, but our eyes keep returning to the massive chain ring and rough cobbles.

• Measures 12”x16”. Printed on acid-free, fade-resistant, PH-neutral, 20.5 mil (0.5 mm) thick poly-cotton blend canvas with fabric weight: 13.9 oz/yd2(470 g/m²)
• The print has a matte finish coating and the canvas is hand-stretched over solid wood stretcher bars 1.5″ (3.81 cm) deep. Mounting brackets included.
